Last updated: October 10, 2026 • Compact beta web version
This Privacy Policy explains how SPEEQET, INC. ("SPEEQET," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal information when businesses and organizations use SPEEQET and when people interact with a SPEEQET Human AI Host. It is designed for the current beta and should be read together with the Terms of Service and the consent notice shown before a Human AI Host conversation begins.
1. Who is responsible for the data
For Customer account, billing, security, support, and product-operation data, SPEEQET generally determines why and how that information is processed. For Conversation Data collected through a Customer’s Human AI Host, the Customer or organization that invited the Participant generally decides the purpose of the conversation, and SPEEQET processes that data to provide the Service on the Customer’s behalf. SPEEQET may separately process limited information for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, and its own service operations.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use SPEEQET, we may collect:
- Account and business information, such as name, organization, email address, login information, plan, and account settings.
- Customer Content and configuration data, such as documents, website links, instructions, topics, questions, and other materials a Customer provides to configure a Human AI Host.
- Conversation Data, which may include a Participant’s audio, video, spoken words, transcript, responses, session metadata, and other information the Participant chooses to provide during a Human AI Host conversation.
- Outputs and analytics generated from Conversations, such as transcripts, summaries, themes, alerts, or other results made available through the Customer dashboard.
- Device, usage, log, cookie, and local-storage information used for security, authentication, accessibility preferences, service operation, diagnostics, and similar purposes.
- Payment and billing information. Payment-card processing is handled by payment service providers; SPEEQET does not intentionally store full payment-card numbers.
- Support and communications information when you contact us, submit a request, or otherwise communicate with SPEEQET.
Sign in with Google
If you choose Sign in with Google, Google may provide SPEEQET, INC. with your name, email address, profile picture, a unique Google account identifier, and confirmation of whether your email address is verified. We use this information to create, authenticate, secure, and, when appropriate, link your SPEEQET account. We retain your email address and Google account identifier so we can recognize your account when you return. SPEEQET does not receive your Google password. If an existing SPEEQET account uses the same email address, we will link the accounts only after Google confirms that the email address is verified. Google’s own privacy policy governs Google’s handling of information associated with your Google account.
3. Human AI Host conversations and AI processing
Before a Human AI Host conversation begins, SPEEQET should display a clear notice that the Participant is interacting with AI and explain the material recording and processing that will occur. Camera or microphone permissions are requested through the Participant’s device or browser when required by the session configuration. The Customer receives the Conversation results made available through its SPEEQET account, which may include transcripts, summaries, and analytics.
SPEEQET does not use Conversation Data in the current beta to make automated eligibility decisions about employment, housing, credit, insurance, education, or other similarly consequential matters. We do not represent the standard beta as a biometric-identification system. If SPEEQET later introduces material biometric, sensitive-inference, or other higher-risk processing, we will review the feature, update applicable notices, and obtain consent where required before deployment.
4. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide, operate, personalize, secure, troubleshoot, and support the Service;
- create and deliver Human AI Host conversations, transcripts, summaries, analytics, and Customer-requested features;
- authenticate accounts, process payments, meter usage, provide receipts, and manage subscriptions;
- prevent fraud, abuse, security threats, and violations of our policies;
- answer support requests and administer privacy, legal, accessibility, or safety requests;
- improve reliability, safety, usability, and product performance using information in a manner consistent with this Policy and applicable law; and
- comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, and protect the rights, safety, and security of SPEEQET, Customers, Participants, and others.
5. Service providers, infrastructure, and integrations
SPEEQET uses specialized service providers and technology infrastructure to operate the Service, including providers supporting AI, cloud hosting, authentication, payments, communications, security, and other functions. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to SPEEQET, subject to applicable contracts, terms, and law. We do not authorize service providers to use SPEEQET Personal Information for their own independent advertising.
If a Customer connects SPEEQET to a third-party integration or exports information, data may be transmitted to that third party at the Customer’s direction. The third party’s own terms and privacy practices then apply to its handling of that information.
6. Sale, sharing, advertising, and service improvement
SPEEQET does not sell Personal Information for money. In the current beta, we do not use Participant Conversation Data for cross-context behavioral advertising. If we later engage in activity that constitutes a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising under an applicable U.S. state privacy law, we will update our notices and provide legally required opt-out controls, including recognized universal opt-out mechanisms where applicable.
SPEEQET and its service providers may process information to maintain, secure, support, and improve the services they provide. Where a particular improvement use requires consent or an additional choice, we will present that choice before using the information for that purpose.
7. How long we keep information
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and secure the Service, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, follow Customer instructions where applicable, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud or abuse, and maintain legitimate business records. Retention periods vary by data category, account status, Customer configuration, and legal requirements. Conversation Data and transcripts may be retained for the period needed to provide the Customer’s SPEEQET service and related results, subject to lawful deletion requests, Customer instructions, legal holds, security needs, backups, billing records, and other permitted retention requirements. When information is no longer reasonably necessary, SPEEQET may delete, anonymize, or de-identify it as appropriate. SPEEQET does not promise a fixed automatic deletion period unless a specific product setting, Customer agreement, or notice expressly states one.
8. Your privacy rights and choices
Depending on where you live and how SPEEQET handles your information, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, information about processing, or withdrawal of consent; to opt out of certain sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling; and to appeal certain denied privacy requests. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
To make a privacy request, use the SPEEQET Contact page or email support@speeqet.com with the subject "PRIVACY REQUEST." We may need to verify your identity and authority. If your request concerns Conversation Data controlled by the business or organization that invited you, we may direct or forward the request to that Customer because the Customer may be responsible for the decision. Authorized agents may submit requests where applicable law permits.
9. Recording consent and withdrawal
A Participant may decline a Human AI Host invitation before the session begins and may end a session at any time. Where processing relies on consent, a Participant may withdraw that consent for future processing. Withdrawal does not automatically undo processing that was lawful before withdrawal. A Participant may also request deletion where applicable; deletion is subject to Customer instructions, legal requirements, security and recordkeeping exceptions, and other applicable limitations.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including controls appropriate to the nature of the Service. No system can guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a security incident, we will investigate and provide notices required by applicable law or contract.
11. Children and minors
SPEEQET Customer accounts are intended for adults and organizations. The general beta is not directed to children under 13, and SPEEQET does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from a child under 13 without an appropriate lawful basis and required parental or guardian permission. Customers must obtain any additional approvals required for school, youth, research, or minor-participant deployments.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy when our practices, technology, or legal obligations change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required. Questions or privacy requests may be submitted through the SPEEQET Contact page or to support@speeqet.com.
