Terms of Service

Beta

Last updated: October 10, 2026 • Compact beta web version 1.1

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and SPEEQET, INC. ("SPEEQET," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of SPEEQET websites, accounts, dashboards, Human AI Hosts, conversations, transcripts, analytics, integrations, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, selecting a paid plan, or otherwise accepting these Terms, you agree to them. If you use the Service for a company, school, organization, or other entity, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity.

Defined terms. "Output" or "Outputs" means transcripts, summaries, analytics, recommendations, or other results generated or made available through the Service. "SPEEQET Technology" means the software, interfaces, workflows, orchestration, templates, analytics mechanisms, documentation, branding, and proprietary or licensed technology used to provide the Service.

1. Eligibility, accounts, and authorized users

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Customer account and must provide accurate account information. You are responsible for safeguarding credentials, limiting access to authorized users, and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access. Activity performed through your account is treated as authorized by you unless you promptly report a compromise.

2. What SPEEQET provides

SPEEQET provides AI-enabled conversational experiences that organizations can configure and share with participants. Features may include Human AI Hosts, customer-provided knowledge, questions and topics, audiovisual conversations, transcripts, summaries, analytics, links and QR codes, and integrations. Features may change as the beta develops, and not every feature is available on every plan.

3. Human AI Hosts and AI disclosure

A SPEEQET Human AI Host is an artificial-intelligence system, not a live person. Outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate. Do not rely on a Human AI Host for emergency response or as a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, mental-health, or other licensed advice. Customers may not remove required AI-disclosure or participant-consent notices.

4. Free trial, plans, usage, and fees

The current free trial lasts up to one week or 15 Conversation minutes, whichever occurs first, unless the Plans page states otherwise. The beta trial does not automatically convert to a paid plan unless SPEEQET clearly discloses that change and you affirmatively authorize the charge.

Paid plan prices, included Conversation minutes, overage rates, billing cadence, and other material commercial terms are shown on the Plans page and again at checkout. Those terms become part of this agreement when you purchase a plan. Conversation usage is measured by SPEEQET systems. Where usage is billed by the minute, aggregate billable overage may be rounded to the next whole minute for the applicable billing period as disclosed at checkout. Taxes may be added where required.

By purchasing a recurring plan, you authorize SPEEQET and its payment service providers to charge the disclosed subscription amount, applicable taxes, and disclosed usage-based charges to your selected payment method until you cancel. We do not intentionally store your full payment-card number.

5. Renewal, cancellation, and refunds

Paid self-service plans renew automatically at the disclosed billing interval until canceled. You may cancel through Billing & Subscription in your account. Unless the checkout or an enterprise agreement states otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and you retain access through that date. Valid usage charges incurred before cancellation remain payable.

For the current self-service beta, you may request a refund of a subscription payment within 24 hours after the charge by contacting support@speeqet.com, subject to applicable law. After that period, payments are generally nonrefundable unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise. After service ends, export and retention availability is governed by the product interface and our Privacy Policy.

6. Customer content, participant content, and results

You retain ownership of materials you upload or provide to SPEEQET ("Customer Content"). Participants retain any rights they have in what they submit during a Conversation ("Participant Content"). You grant SPEEQET a limited, nonexclusive license to host, process, transmit, reproduce, and otherwise use Customer Content and Participant Content as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, and operate the Service and as otherwise described in the Privacy Policy.

Subject to participant rights, applicable law, and these Terms, SPEEQET may provide the Customer with transcripts, summaries, analytics, and other results generated from Conversations. You are responsible for deciding how you use those results and for independently verifying information before making consequential decisions.

7. Customer responsibilities and participant consent

You are responsible for your deployment of the Service. You must have the rights needed to upload Customer Content and must provide all notices and obtain all permissions, releases, consents, and approvals required for your use case, including recording, privacy, publicity, likeness, voice, employment, research, school, or other regulated uses. You must not configure or use the Service to mislead a participant into believing the Human AI Host is a live person.

You may not use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, harassing, exploitative, discriminatory, dangerous, or rights-infringing activity; for covert surveillance or unauthorized impersonation; to collect information you have no right to collect; to interfere with or reverse engineer the Service; or for a high-risk use prohibited or restricted by the SPEEQET Acceptable Use Policy. SPEEQET may suspend or restrict a deployment that presents legal, security, safety, or abuse risk.

8. Privacy, service providers, and integrations

Our Privacy Policy explains how SPEEQET handles personal information. We use specialized service providers and technology infrastructure to operate the Service, including providers supporting AI, cloud hosting, authentication, payments, communications, security, and other functions. Customer-directed integrations may transmit information from SPEEQET to third-party services selected by the Customer. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

9. SPEEQET intellectual property

SPEEQET, INC. and its licensors own the Service, software, interfaces, designs, documentation, workflows, trademarks, branding, and other technology, excluding Customer Content and Participant Content. Except for the limited rights necessary to use the Service under these Terms, no intellectual-property rights are transferred to you. Feedback or suggestions you voluntarily provide may be used by SPEEQET without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.

10. Availability, security, suspension, and termination

We use reasonable measures to operate and secure the Service, but no online or AI service is guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free, or immune from security incidents. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features; restrict or suspend accounts for nonpayment, abuse, security risk, unlawful use, or material breach; and comply with legal process. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, limitations, indemnity, dispute provisions, and record-retention obligations—remain effective.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE AND AI OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." SPEEQET DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE OR OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SPEEQET WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, OR DATA. SPEEQET’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID SPEEQET FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) $100 IF YOU PAID NOTHING. These limitations do not apply where applicable law prohibits them.

12. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SPEEQET, INC. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from third-party claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your Customer Content, your deployment or misuse of the Service, your failure to obtain required notices or consents, your violation of law or third-party rights, or your material breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. This section does not require indemnification for SPEEQET’s own unlawful conduct to the extent such indemnification is prohibited by law.

13. Dispute resolution, arbitration, class waiver, and jury waiver

Please read this section carefully. Except for eligible small-claims matters and the limited court relief described below, you and SPEEQET, INC. agree to resolve disputes through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA"), rather than in court.

Before filing arbitration or a non-emergency court action, the initiating party must send written notice describing the dispute and requested relief. Notice to SPEEQET must be emailed to support@speeqet.com with the subject "LEGAL DISPUTE NOTICE." The parties will attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute for 45 days after receipt of notice, unless they agree otherwise or applicable law does not permit this prerequisite.

The Federal Arbitration Act governs the arbitration agreement. If AAA treats the dispute as a consumer matter, its then-current Consumer Arbitration Rules and consumer fee schedule apply; otherwise its then-current Commercial Arbitration Rules apply. The initiating party must pay the filing or commencement fee assigned to that party under the applicable AAA rules. Remaining fees and arbitrator compensation will be allocated under those rules and governing law. These Terms do not require an individual consumer to pay more than applicable AAA consumer rules and law permit.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLAIMS MUST BE BROUGHT ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, REPRESENTATIVE, OR PRIVATE-ATTORNEY-GENERAL ACTION. YOU AND SPEEQET EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Either party may bring an eligible individual claim in small-claims court and may seek temporary court relief to prevent actual or threatened infringement, misappropriation, unauthorized access, disclosure of confidential information, or similar irreparable harm.

You may opt out of the arbitration agreement by emailing support@speeqet.com with the subject "ARBITRATION OPT-OUT" within 30 days after you first become subject to it. Include your full name, organization name if applicable, account email address, and a clear statement that you opt out of arbitration with SPEEQET, INC. A valid opt-out affects only arbitration; the remainder of these Terms still applies.

14. Governing law, changes, and contact

Except to the extent federal law or another mandatory law controls, these Terms are governed by Michigan law without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Non-arbitrable disputes that may lawfully be subject to an exclusive forum must be brought in the appropriate state or federal court serving Kent County, Michigan, unless applicable law requires another forum.

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. For material changes, we will provide notice appropriate to the change and applicable law. Changes will not retroactively alter a dispute for which the parties already had actual notice unless required by law. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains effective to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Questions about these Terms or the Service may be submitted through the SPEEQET Contact page or to support@speeqet.com.
